Twenty-four Hour Power Restoration

When members experience a power outage or need a meter reconnection after hours a list of "trouble" phone numbers are listed in each area phone book.

• After office hours, a power outage or meter reset call to the members' local phone number is intercepted by an answering machine whose message gives the customer the emergency number to call. This method prevents the necessity of members having long-distance call charges. Caney Fork Electric's answering service then notifies the proper "on-call" personnel.
