Tennessee Council of Cooperatives "Couples Conference"

Caney Fork Electric Cooperative is a member of The Tennessee Council of Cooperatives (TCC), a State organization established to promote the cooperative way of business through education and promotion of all types of cooperatives. Each year the Council sponsors a Couples Conference, which is designed to educate Tennessee's young couples regarding cooperative principles and practices. This conference is held in February of each year in Gatlinburg, TN. Couples are select by TCC members to participate in this two-day event filled with learning sessions and group discussions. Speakers are selected with expertise in topic relevant to the interests and professions of couples attending. Average conference attendance is approximately 30 couples representing nine different types of cooperatives.
